If you want take part in the competition SU Innovation Research Idea Competition 2012 - Life Science and ICT.

"Award and Competion criteria

We are looking for applications for research based innovations within Life Science and ICT. We will select for maximum 3 finalists that will share 200 000SEK. The winner will receive 100 000 SEK, second place 60 000 SEK and third place 40 000. The competition has been made possible through a collaboration between KTH Innovation and SU Innovation. The prize money will be used for activities towards the market.

Application Information and deadline

To take part in the competition, send in a written application (1-2 pages), no later than November 23, that includes:

• Name of the project Contact information of team members, email addresses, telephone numbers and present position at Stockholm University. Note that the competition is open to research scientists and students at Stockholm University with Life Science and ICT research based ideas.
   
• Presentation of the idea /product (Value proposition of the idea):

1. Needs (the customers need: what is the problem) 
2. Approach (How is the problem solved?)
3. Benefit (advantages for customers in relation to costs)
4. Competition (how is the problem solved today and who is solving it?)

• Description of the present commercial phase of the project . (describe what has been done so far to develop the idea to a final product/service)
   
• If there is risk of damage of future patentability, please state that and omit the data/information.
